Supply of Cleaning Equipment
Project Overview
Due to the increasing expansion of residential planning, the geographical distance between cities and rural areas of the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, and the large influx of displaced people, the planned strategies have been disrupted. The poor technical condition of the current cleaning equipment, most of which is worn out, unusable, and suffers from frequent breakdowns, along with the lack of sufficient equipment to handle the continuous increase in waste disposal, has weakened the performance of cleaning operations and disrupted the timely removal of waste. This leads to the accumulation of garbage, causing direct environmental damage and health hazards to humans.
The project aims to:
- Supply new cleaning equipment (compactors, dump trucks, loaders).
- Ensure the sustainability of cleaning operations and services in all cities and villages of the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert.
- Reduce the risks of pollution caused by waste.
- Address the annual increase in waste production and the insufficient capacity of the current cleaning equipment.
- Replace old and unusable equipment with new machinery, thereby improving the performance of cleaning operations.
- Provide equipment for watering trees to increase green spaces, contributing to air purification.
