About the Foundation
Hayat Karima Foundation for Sustainable Development was established in Hadhramout Governorate, Seiyun District, on January 4, 2024, under license number (656_2024) issued by the Office of Social Affairs and Labour in Wadi & Sahara Hadhramout. The Foundation is one of the non-governmental and non-profit civil society organizations. It engages in activities that serve the community and contribute to achieving sustainable development. Hayat Karima Foundation is seeking funders and supporters for several sustainable development projects in environmental sanitation. Studies and proposals have been prepared and completed for several projects, and they are ready while the search for funders and supporters for their implementation is underway.
Hayat Karima Foundation for Sustainable Development has several different sustainable development projects. According to the Foundation's objectives and vision, these projects are supportive of development and contribute to guiding the community toward the noble objective of transitioning from need to capability and achieving that objective. Through this, the Foundation extends its hand to local, regional, and international community organizations and institutions for partnership and collaboration, as the community is in urgent need of everyone’s solidarity.
Areas of Work of the Foundation
1. Sustainable development in the field of environmental sanitation
2. Raising community, environmental, and legal awareness, and transitioning the role of women from empowerment to partnership in economic activities
3. Sustainable development in agricultural and food security projects, based on the fact that the Wadi Hadhramout has been a leader in many agricultural crops in past years. Hayat Karima Foundation for Sustainable Development aims to contribute to achieving and restoring the previous self-sufficiency.
Funding Sources
All expenditures mentioned for Hayat Karima Foundation for Sustainable Development are funded through self-financing from the Foundation's chairperson and its members as well as grants, donations, and in-kind contributions from external entities, local, regional, or international civil society organizations, or charitable donations, provided they do not conflict with the Foundation's conditions and regulations
